SAP Test Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Test Lead for a comprehensive ERP transformation program based on SAP S/4HANA. The assignment is a full-time engagement starting immediately and extending until the end of 2026, with potential for extension. You will be part of a Test Center of Excellence (CoE) and play a central role in ensuring quality and structure throughout the entire testing process.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an overall test plan in close collaboration with the Test CoE team, including scope, methodology, and approach
• Lead and support teams of testers, ensuring continuous progress and providing adequate training for effective test execution
• Monitor test execution and coordinate with business representatives, subject matter experts, architects, developers, and other stakeholders
• Drive testing activities through various test phases, with an initial focus on user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Manage the defect process, including documentation, follow-up, and ensuring timely resolution of issues in cooperation with implementation partners and development teams
• Ensure clear and continuous communication with stakeholders regarding status, risks, and overall progress
• Collaborate with central test management and other Test Leads to maintain consistent methodology and coordinate test data sets

Requirements

• Documented certification in test management, e.g., ISTQB or equivalent
• Post-secondary education (bachelor's or master's degree) in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
• Documented leadership experience in test management in large and complex transformation programs
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and various testing methodologies
• Strong knowledge of test data quality management in an end-to-end perspective
• Extensive experience with large, global ERP systems, e.g., SAP
• Experience in system implementation projects
• Strong documentation skills for test plans, test cases, and reports
• Experience with test management tools in large-scale environments
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
• Good leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
• Analytical mindset with a structured and solution-oriented approach

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with agile methodologies
• Experience from the process industry
• Familiarity with international implementation projects involving operations in multiple countries
