Tester – System Management and Acceptance Testing

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and self-driven tester for a full-time assignment in the management of business-critical applications and systems. The assignment involves responsibility for both manual and automated testing, as well as educational support to operational staff during acceptance testing. You are expected to have a holistic view – not merely focus on individual requirements – and actively contribute to the quality assurance of the systems we manage.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute manual tests based on defined requirements
• Create, maintain, and manage automated tests, primarily in Cypress as well as in tools such as SoapUI and Python scripts
• Participate in troubleshooting and problem analysis of managed applications and systems
• Act as educational test support for operational staff before and during acceptance testing
• Ensure the overall quality of testing and be responsible for test deliveries with high accuracy

Requirements

• High competence in testing and experience with complex assignments at a very high quality level
• Documented ability to work independently and take responsibility for the entire test process
• Excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Opportunity to work on-site with the client in Gothenburg

Meritorious

• Good knowledge of Cypress
• Documented pedagogical experience in the testing field, for example through training, coaching, or test support to operational staff

Start: 2026-08 Length: 12 months (option for an additional 12 months) Location: Gothenburg, on-site (some remote work possible by agreement)
