Material handler for construction site, Stockholm

We are now looking for an experienced and proactive material handler for one of our construction projects in Stockholm. Here you will have a central role in production where you are responsible for the material flow, order on the worksite, and ensuring smooth operations without interruptions.

Work duties

• Operate wheel loader and handle materials on the worksite
• Receive, inspect, and register deliveries (e.g., in Teams)
• Check deliveries against orders and options
• Handle returns in cooperation with factory/supplier
• Assist with crane lifts
• Ensure that materials are in the right place at the right time
• Take responsibility for electricity, lighting, and heating in apartments during production
• Maintain order and structure on the construction site
• Empty waste containers and manage waste
• Refill consumables (e.g., screw containers)
• Manage storage container and cabins (cleaning, refilling coffee, paper, etc.)
• Ensure first aid and fire safety equipment are in place
• Inspect and maintain construction fences
• Conduct safety rounds every two weeks
• Ensure signage and advertising are correctly placed
• Collect and manage material for reuse (e.g., formwork and trench supports)
• Contribute so that production never stops
