Temporary Position Psychologist/Counselor

We are now looking for a dedicated Psychologist or Counselor for our nice health center in Svedala for a temporary position with the possibility of permanent employment.

Our practice opened in August 2024 and is in an exciting development phase. Here you will have varied work, close colleagues, and good opportunities to influence your daily work. The health center has specialists in general medicine. We have clinics for asthma/COPD, diabetes, rehabilitation, occupational therapist, dietitian, and nursing clinic. We also provide travel vaccinations.

About the position

As a Psychologist or Counselor with us, you work with assessment, counseling, and treatment of patients with mild to moderate mental health issues. You offer individual sessions, support measures, and contribute psychosocial expertise to the team.

You will work closely with doctors, nurses, and other professionals at the health center, where collaboration is a natural part of daily life. The work involves great variety and the opportunity to help develop our psychosocial work.

About you

The applicant is a licensed psychologist or trained counselor with relevant experience for the assignment. You are confident in both person and profession, have a patient-focused approach, and feel secure in both your professional role and as a person. You have a professional demeanor, put the patient in focus, and understand the importance of good service, accessibility, and quality in each meeting.

We are looking for someone who is responsible, flexible, and has good ability to prioritize in a sometimes hectic pace. You thrive in a varied role where tasks can shift during the day and where you can quickly adapt based on the needs of the practice.

You work independently, take your own initiative, and at the same time easily collaborate with others. Teamwork is an important part of our daily life, so we value that you contribute to a positive work environment and have a non-hierarchical approach towards colleagues and patients.

We would like you to have experience working in primary care, clinic operations, or other patient-focused care.
