Social Worker

Wanted: Consultant in substance abuse and addiction - from September 1st.

A municipality in southern Sweden is seeking a qualified consultant for an assignment as a social secretary in the field of substance abuse and addiction. The assignment starts September 1, 2025, with the possibility of extension or until a permanent employee is in place.

Assignment Description

The assignment involves public authority exercise according to SoL and LVM and includes, among other things:

• Investigation of addiction issues and social situation.
• 
  
• Assessment of needs and decisions regarding support and treatment interventions.
• 
  
• Follow-up of granted interventions.
• 
  
• Client meetings take place at the workplace, in the home, or together with collaboration partners.
• 
  

Working hours are weekdays 08:00–17:00. The work is primarily carried out on-site in the municipality, but some remote work may be deemed possible by the client.

Requirements Profile

The consultant must:

• Have a Swedish social work degree or equivalent.
• 
  
• Have at least five years of experience in public authority exercise (SoL).
• 
  
• Have recent experience in the field within the last five years.
• 
  
• Be well-versed in relevant legislation, able to work independently and document clearly.
• 
  
• Have good collaboration skills and a professional demeanor.
