ACCOUNTING CONSULTANT for LIMITED COMPANIES (AND SOLE TRADERS)

Who are we?

www.siffror.se We are currently 12 female colleagues who help over 500 small business owners with their finances. Primarily sole traders and smaller limited companies, but also other business forms such as partnerships and associations. We work completely digitally and have no office. However, we are a wonderful team that enjoys meeting when opportunity arises - either for lunch, a workday, or a Christmas party.

What are we looking for?

An accounting consultant with agency experience who can assist smaller limited companies (and preferably sole traders) with everything needed, from start to finish – advisory, ongoing bookkeeping, VAT, payroll, year-end accounts, annual report, income tax return, K10 appendix, (NE appendix), etc. You will be client-responsible for the companies and handle all client contact. Essentially having your own clients. You need to be fully independent and able to solve all conceivable situations within the business form. Some clients bookkeep on their own in their own accounting software and only need help with certain parts, so you should be proficient in more programs than Fortnox which we use. Knowledge of transitioning from sole trader to limited company is a plus.

What workload?

To start, you begin without clients and thus start with a fewer number of hours. In the future, you should be able to work at least 50% of full-time, or alternatively be client-responsible for approximately 100 companies. Please note that it may take time to build up the client base. Some companies are available to take over at the start. The number of hours per month varies during the year due to low and high seasons. One of us currently manages 100 sole traders for whom she is client-responsible. She spends approximately 20 hours per month on average, with a variation between 5 hours one month and 48 hours another month. In 2025, she spent 236 hours in total. Her busiest period is during the spring, around tax returns. Another of us currently manages 100 companies (about 50 sole traders and 50 limited companies) for which she is client-responsible. She spends approximately 80 hours per month on average, with a variation between 56 hours one month and 107 hours another month. In 2025, she spent 955 hours in total.

Who are you?

– You are positive, service-minded, and love taking care of your clients and their needs. You are used to helping clients and providing advice with the attitude that no question is stupid.

– You have worked extensively in Fortnox and feel fully comfortable with Digital Byrå, all functions, and the program.

– You have worked long-term with ongoing bookkeeping and chart of accounts.

– You are meticulous and meet deadlines with margin.

– You have a flexible schedule and are cooperative.

– You have other jobs on the side, alternatively your own accounting firm or own clients.

– You are stress-resistant and able to handle many tasks simultaneously. Many clients emailing and lots to keep track of should not feel stressful.

– You feel fully comfortable communicating in English, both in writing and speech.

– You live in the Stockholm area or can travel to Stockholm a few times a year without excessive travel time.

Work setup?

You work from home or your own office, on your own computer. We provide all software. Monthly meetings (via Zoom) and ongoing check-ins occur, and we always help each other when needed. We communicate directly and clearly, primarily via email and the Slack app.
