Process Operator, Technical Products
Description
Our business purpose, Making Better Happen™, describes our pursuit of continuous improvement.
AAK specializes in plant-based oils that are value-adding ingredients in a range of popular consumer products. We make these products tastier, healthier, and more sustainable. With our oils, the sensory properties of products can be enhanced—for example, making premium chocolate smoother, plant-based burgers juicier, or low-fat puff pastry flakier. By replacing ingredients with AAK's plant-based alternatives, our customers can also optimize and streamline their production. With value-adding oils and fats, we help our customers succeed better.
Customer collaboration in product development and understanding what "better" means for each individual customer is at the core of our business. With our flexible production facilities and extensive expertise, we deliver our value-adding products to a range of industries, including chocolate and confectionery, bakery, dairy, plant-based foods, specialty nutrition, food service, and personal care. Our 4000 employees work closely with our customers through 25 regional sales offices, 16 innovation centers, and supported by over 20 production facilities.
AAK, headquartered in Malmö, is listed on the Nasdaq Stockholm exchange and has been striving for continuous improvement for 150 years.
Our facility in Karlshamn is a multi-factory. All of the company's business areas are represented here. Swedish-grown rapeseed is an important raw material, while a large number of different vegetable fats are shipped directly to the factory in Karlshamn from growing countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas. The Nordic region is an important home market, while specialty products are exported from Karlshamn worldwide.
