Maintenance Technician

Welcome to apply for the position of Maintenance Technician at our CNC/Machining department at Teknia in Vimmerby.

We are now looking for a technical and self-driven maintenance technician. Are you a solution-oriented person with an interest in technology and maintenance? Then you might be the one we are looking for.

We work extensively with new technology and are among the top in qualified die casting and post-processing. Our customers are primarily in the automotive industry, mainly premium brands.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for our CNC machines and other production equipment, primarily in the machining department. You will be responsible for both preventive and corrective maintenance and actively work to improve our maintenance processes.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

- You will be assigned your own area of responsibility to maintain and prevent downtime.

- Assist with commissioning of new equipment when needed

- Troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of machines

- Documentation of performed work

- Ensuring that operations resume as quickly as possible during machine downtime and planned stops.

- Collaborating with production and other departments in the company

- Purchasing spare parts

Competence and Education Requirements

o Good knowledge of machining technology

o Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written

o Knowledge of MIG/MAG welding

o Good knowledge of MS Office

o Knowledge of machine maintenance

o Very good technical understanding

Meritorious:

o Experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in the automotive industry

o Previous experience in the automotive industry

o Knowledge of troubleshooting

o Experience with planned and preventive maintenance

Salary according to agreement
