Role Description

We are seeking a Battery Material Procurement Specialist for a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Uppsala Metropolitan Area.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities, including purchase order creation, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiation. You will play a key role in building and optimizing our supply chain by analyzing procurement data and ensuring alignment with company strategy and objectives.

You will work closely with both internal teams and external suppliers to ensure high standards of quality, cost-efficiency, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement processes, including purchase orders and supplier coordination
• Evaluate and qualify suppliers to ensure quality and reliability
• Negotiate contracts and commercial terms with vendors
• Analyze procurement and supply chain data to drive optimization and efficiency
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align procurement with business goals
• Ensure compliance with company standards and industry requirements

Qualifications

• Proven experience in procurement and purchase order management
• Strong skills in supplier evaluation and contract negotiation
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Proficiency in procurement tools and systems is an advantage
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, on-site team environment
• Fluency in English, Chinese, Japanese, and Swedish
