Social/Treatment Pedagogues

Ekotopia vård is now seeking several treatment staff for all our operations within a four-mile radius around Aneby. We are looking for both hourly substitutes and temporary and permanent staff.

Applicants must have relevant education such as treatment/social pedagogue, care assistant, assistant nurse, or other equivalent education.

Ekotopia vård operates various treatment operations such as HVB for men, HVB for women, housing for men/women, and housing for women.

Our focus is on people with substance abuse/addiction problems, mental health problems, mental illness, trauma, exposure to violence, and criminality.

You need to have experience from similar work as this job requires knowledge and experience as well as personal suitability. We need someone who is committed and interested in working with this target group. We would like you to be a positive person who is not afraid to pitch in where needed. You must have great patience, but be able to stand firm and set boundaries, be fearless and secure.

Your duties are to work with our clients in their daily lives at the treatment home. This involves supporting and assisting in various areas. Everything from helping them get through the day based on their well-being to helping them with more practical tasks. You are the one who accompanies them to e.g. dental visits, doctor's visits, participates when they do various activities and other daily chores. It includes taking urine samples and checking sobriety and drug-free status, administering medication after delegation from a nurse, and being a guide in the entire daily life. It includes cleaning, administrative tasks such as daily documentation, cooking, and other things needed.

Applicants must be able to present a current extract from the police criminal record without any remarks at a possible interview.
