On-call Substitute Adonia Omsorg Borås

We are now looking for a committed employee for our operations in Borås.

We also have operations in Uddevalla and Gothenburg where work may become available.

We offer supported housing and apartment accommodation where we work in accordance with the Social Services Act (SoL 2001:453). Our clients often have psychosocial difficulties and/or substance abuse problems.

Tasks and areas of responsibility

As a substitute support and treatment pedagogue, you work independently and with great responsibility close to the clients in their homes. Your assignment may include:

- Support in finding and keeping your own accommodation.

- Reminders and help at meetings with social services and authorities.

- Support in ADL (Activities of Daily Living).

- Transporting clients to external meetings and treatments.

- Conversations about substance abuse, relapse and social difficulties.

- Explaining authority decisions and providing support with reactions to them.

- Sampling (e.g. urine tests)

It is largely solitary work but with close collaboration with colleagues and the coordinator/unit manager. You need to be calm and secure as a person. You will collaborate with other authorities and especially the social services. As a person, we would like you to be empathetic even though you sometimes need to set boundaries.

Qualifications and requirements

To thrive and succeed in the role, we would like you to have:

✅ A category B driving licence and experience of driving for work.

✅ Experience of work in social work, care, treatment or pedagogical work.

✅ Education in social pedagogy, behavioural science, health and social care or similar (or ongoing studies in the field. Applies to HVB, supported housing as well as social housing with support and protection)

✅ Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written – you will document in our record system.

✅ A secure and stable personality with the ability to create and maintain professional relationships.

✅ Clean extracts from the criminal record and suspicion register (in accordance with the Act (2013:852) on register checks of persons who are to work with children).

Working hours and employment terms

- Requires on-call duty in the evenings, at night and at weekends.

- On-call time means that you must be able to be on site within 30–60 minutes if needed.

- A company car may be taken home during on-call time (not for private use).

- The employment is covered by a collective agreement, which gives you secure employment terms.
