Awake night shift every third weekend

Ebba HVB is a treatment home for women located 40 km north of Jönköping. We receive women with substance abuse/addiction problems, mental illness and in most cases they have been subjected to violence and/or abuse. At Ebba HVB we provide treatment for addiction problems and trauma.

To work with us, you need to have a relevant education, which can be treatment/social pedagogue, social worker, assistant nurse specializing in psychiatry or similar. You need to have experience from similar work, as this work requires knowledge and experience as well as personal suitability.

For this job, where you will work every third weekend at night, we can also consider you if you are studying in a relevant field, such as social work or health and social care, and you must be a woman since there are tasks such as urine sample collection that require a woman. Many of our women have trauma from abuse and for that reason we specifically need female staff

There is also an opportunity to join our temporary staff pool to work as an hourly substitute in our operations.

Your duties are to work awake at night between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. In addition to being there for our clients, which is always a priority, if they feel unwell or are awake for other reasons, there are other various tasks such as administrative work, cleaning, preparing breakfast, etc.

We need someone who has commitment and interest in working with this target group. You must be a woman, as several of the women, due to their previous experiences, have difficulty meeting a man alone. You should have great patience, but be able to stand firm and set boundaries, be fearless and secure.

We are currently looking for 1 position for this.

The position is a temporary employment for 1 year at a time.
