Sanitation Worker/On-call/Uppsala

The Rescue Squad at aleja is now looking for new recruits.

Our squad's function is to step in when we need urgent help at a customer's site – for example in cases of illness among our own or the customer's staff, unexpected peaks in workload, or other urgent assignments.

However, it is important that you can set aside at least two full weekdays per week, i.e. not weekends or gaps between classes – all so that we can have the opportunity to offer you work assignments.

We would prefer that you who are studying and applying for this position are enrolled in longer-term studies and have at least one year left of your studies.

About us

aleja ab is a staffing company primarily operating in Stockholm. We offer 24/7 on-call service to our customers, which means we have assignments at all hours of the day.

We provide staffing in a variety of industries – including transport and warehousing, construction and demolition, sanitation and cleaning, and other heavy work without requirements for extensive prior knowledge or education.

Completed military service is a strong merit because the work is physically and mentally demanding.

Work is measured individually, and you should be driven by wanting to pick more and compete against both yourself and within the team. You who are applying see the work setup as a fun challenge rather than a stressful element.

We are looking for someone who is an early riser, flexible and not afraid to try new things or meet new people. With us there is also the opportunity to try different types of work, including in warehousing, sanitation, assembly, heavy labor and demolition.

For you to be employed as extra staff with us, you must be a student and be able to present a valid study certificate, or alternatively support yourself through another main occupation, e.g. another part-time job.

Your duties

Right now, on behalf of a customer, we are looking for twelve people who will work with graffiti removal in Uppsala.

The work is usually performed at our customers' customers' sites, which means a willingness to provide good service and a service-oriented attitude is a prerequisite. The work includes heavy lifting, independent work and traveling between different workplaces.
