Service-minded Cleaner

We are looking for someone who enjoys independent and varied work, likes to keep things tidy, and can see what needs to be done. The position involves responsibility for the daily upkeep of our premises, such as offices, teaching rooms, conference rooms, our common areas, and the experiment hall. Since you work in our public environments, you will meet many of our visitors, so you need to be social and able to talk with both adults and children. The position will also involve work as a host in the café, kitchen, shop, reception, and exhibition every fourth weekend.

The tasks include, among other things:

• Daily cleaning
• Deep cleaning when needed
• Furnishing and setting up premises for various activities and events
• Laundry
• Waste sorting and recycling management
• Hosting in our public environments. Welcoming our visitors, light kitchen work, cash handling, and keeping order in our exhibition areas
• Other practical tasks that may occur in the operations.

This is an independent and varied job where you largely plan your own workday. By keeping track of the organization's calendar, you can see which activities, bookings, and events are upcoming and, based on that, plan and prioritize your tasks.

The job is therefore suitable for you who are independent, responsible, and good at seeing what needs to be done, without always needing to be assigned tasks.

The work is physically demanding; heavy lifting may occur, which means we assume that the applicant is in good physical condition.

The position is a part-time position at 70% and is mainly scheduled in the mornings Monday–Friday and every fourth weekend.

In our operations, no day is like another, so other practical tasks may also come up. You therefore need to be someone who gladly helps where needed and who appreciates a job where the tasks can vary.

Desirable:

• We would like you to have experience from previous cleaning assignments
• Cash handling
• Work in a café or similar

Requirements:

• Driver's license required
• Proficiency in Swedish

Start in October or by agreement

The workplace applies a 3-month probationary period.
