About the assignment

The assignment is carried out in an organization that is in a period of change and development. Several change initiatives are running in parallel while operational and organizational challenges need to be managed.

As an interim manager, you will have a central role in relieving and supporting the organization's managers in both strategic and operational leadership. The focus is on creating structure, progress, and coordination.

You will, among other things, work with:

• Analysis of the organization's current situation
• Prioritization and coordination of efforts
• Management and follow-up of operations
• Coordination and implementation of change work
• Preparation of analyses, decision support, and recommendations
• Follow-up and implementation of improvement initiatives
• Support to managers in strategic and operational issues
• Business development and change management

The goal is to strengthen the organization's ability to implement changes while ensuring stability and quality in ongoing operations.

Requirement profile

To be considered for the assignment, you need to have:

• Academic education in leadership, management, logistics, shipping, or equivalent experience deemed comparable
• At least two years of experience as an interim manager
• Documented ability to combine strategic analysis with operational implementation
• Documented good results from operational activities
• Experience in producing analyses, decision support, and recommendations for management
• Ability to drive and follow up improvement initiatives in complex operational environments
• Experience in change management and business development

Meritorious

It is particularly meritorious if you have:

• Experience in leading other managers
• Experience in leading operations that run around the clock, 24/7

Workplace and remote work

The work is mainly performed on-site at the agency's premises in Gothenburg. There may be an opportunity for remote work up to two days per week.
