About the position

At Kastrup Advokatbyrå, you will be an important part of the mission to safeguard individual rights in court proceedings. The state or authorities are often, but not always, our opposing party. The law firm primarily works with criminal cases, coercive cases, and family law.

As an associate lawyer, you support the lawyer in the ongoing work through all parts of the legal assignment: client meetings, submissions, legal investigations, and preparation for hearings. Under supervision, you will also work on your own cases and litigate in court.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a burning interest in individual rights and a genuine commitment to the rule of law. The role requires you to be a proactive person who can work independently but at the same time efficiently and carefully. Litigating in court requires stress tolerance, good problem-solving skills, a fearless attitude, and very high language proficiency. You have a law degree and experience working as a lawyer. Completed notary service is highly meritorious.

The work is primarily during office hours, but flexibility regarding both time and place is needed because the assignment sometimes requires it. We would prefer applicants who currently live in Falun or within a distance that allows daily commuting to the office. A category B driving license is required.
