Program Quality Manager

We are now looking for an experienced Program Quality Manager for a long-term assignment with our client in the international aviation industry. The assignment suits you if you have solid experience in quality work and want to work close to operations in a technically advanced and international environment.

The role has a clear focus on quality, continuous improvement and collaboration. You will become a central point of contact for quality matters and will work closely with both internal functions and external customers and partners.

About the assignment

As Program Quality Manager, you are responsible for planning, executing and following up on quality activities as well as driving improvement initiatives that strengthen the organization's quality performance. You work proactively to identify, manage and prevent quality-related challenges.

The role involves broad cross-functional collaboration with, among others, production, purchasing, design and aftermarket. You will also have contact with international customers, suppliers, certification bodies and other external partners.

You will, among other things:

• Represent the quality team in internal forums and towards external customers and other stakeholders.
• Actively participate in quality work by analyzing and identifying improvement opportunities as well as managing and developing quality performance.
• Participate in customer and certification audits.
• Conduct internal audits and audits.
• Drive corrective actions, problem-solving, root cause analyses and preventive quality work.
• Challenge and improve existing ways of working and contribute to developing and implementing processes and procedures.
• The assignment does not involve personnel responsibility.

Your Profile

• 8 years of relevant work experience.
• Relevant post-secondary education, for example an engineering degree or equivalent.
• Experience of working within quality, production engineering, project management or problem-solving methodology.
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English.
• A clear drive for continuous improvement and achieving results.
• Ability and willingness to work in cross-functional teams.

As a person, you need to be able to work in a structured and independent manner while building trust and good collaborations with various stakeholders. The role requires an analytical, meticulous and persistent way of working as well as the ability to see the bigger picture, identify connections and turn insights into concrete improvements.
