About the role

Do you want to make a real difference for young people while earning extra money alongside your university studies?

At Vector Academy, we help middle school, high school, and university students crack the code in mathematics, science, social studies, etc. We don't believe in rigid rote learning – our philosophy is based on "Right direction and right effort". Through peer mentorship and smart study techniques, we help students go from exam stress to self-confidence and real understanding.

Since you yourself have recently overcome the same challenges and are now studying at university, you know exactly what it takes to succeed – and you can convey that in a relaxed and pedagogical way.

What you will do:

• Private lessons: Coach students individually or in small digital groups, mainly at the high school and middle school levels.
• Mentorship & Study Techniques: Help the student set up structure and goals (SMART goals) and build long-term study habits.
• Demystify studying: Explain tricky concepts in a simple, understandable way and show that it actually becomes fun when you understand!

Who we are looking for:

• You are studying/have studied at university or equivalent.
• You have a good understanding of mathematics, science, or something else and are passionate about teaching.
• You are pedagogical, empathetic, patient, and find it easy to connect with young people.
• You can adapt explanations based on the student's unique circumstances.

Previous experience with homework help or mentorship is meritorious, but your personality and pedagogical ability weigh the most!

Assignment form & Compensation:

The assignment is on a consulting basis per completed lesson/hour. You invoice via your own company (F-tax) or through any self-employment service (e.g., Cool Company or Frilans Finans). This works very smoothly and we will of course help you get started.
