Cashier Manager / Shift Leader – Full-time

Karamellan Café & Restaurant in Drottningholm is now looking for a full-time cashier manager/shift leader. We are looking for someone who wants to take greater responsibility in daily operations and who enjoys working hands-on together with the team.

About the role:

As cashier manager/shift leader, you are an important part of daily operations. You work actively in the business while leading and distributing work during your shift.

Your duties include, among other things:

*Be responsible for daily operations at the cash register and café

*Lead and distribute work during your shift

*Ensure that guests receive a professional and warm welcome

*Cash handling as well as opening and closing routines

*Counter sales and handling of pastries, sandwiches and beverages

*Work with the espresso machine and coffee

*Introduce and support new employees

*Ensure that routines, order and service levels maintain a high standard

*Collaborate closely with the restaurant manager and other managers

We are looking for someone who is responsible, solution-oriented and confident in leading others. You need to be able to stay calm when the pace is high, see what needs to be done and dare to make decisions.

We would like you to:

Have previous experience from a café, restaurant or similar business

Have good cash register skills

Have experience leading a shift or be ready to take the next step and take on more responsibility

Be structured, stress-resistant and unpretentious

Have a natural eye for service and details

Enjoy working in a team and be good at motivating others

Speak Swedish and English fluently

Experience with espresso machines and barista work is an advantage.

About Karamellan

Karamellan is located in the unique environment by Drottningholm Palace. Here we meet guests from all over the world every day and work with everything from café and restaurant operations to larger groups, weddings, parties and other events.

Working hours are mostly during the day, but weekend work is included and during events, weddings and Christmas buffets, evening work also occurs.

Scope: Full-time

Employment: Permanent, possible probationary employment

Start: By agreement
