What we are looking for At Trasti & Trine we are looking for a friendly and curious person who wants to help create wonderful experiences for both international and local guests. We care about food, drink, hospitality, and the stories behind what we serve, and we hope you want to learn more together with us. You do not need to know everything from the start - interest, commitment, and the desire to do a good job mean a lot. Experience from restaurants, food, or wine is of course a merit, but not a requirement. The most important thing is that you enjoy working in a small team, help out where needed, and contribute to a good and lively working environment. Work tasks As a waiter with us, you will be involved in the entire guest experience - from getting the restaurant ready before service to taking care of guests throughout the meal. You will serve food and drink, tell guests about the food, ingredients, and the place, give drink recommendations, and work closely with the kitchen and the rest of the team. As part of a small team, we all help take care of the restaurant and the surrounding areas. This also includes dishwashing, cleaning, and tidying - we help each other and contribute where needed. The working days are varied, and we like there to be room for both responsibility, learning, and a little flexibility as work progresses. The company was founded in 2011, and today we have around 16 permanent employees. We run a restaurant, accommodation, and dog sledding. We have around 80 Alaskan Huskies, cabins for guests, our own vegetable garden, bakery, and bar. Sustainability is an important part of the direction we want for Trasti & Trine.
