Warehouse Worker for Poppies Bakeries Ekeby AB

Poppies Bakeries Ekeby AB is a modern industrial bakery with two production lines; American-inspired muffins and classic Swedish cookies. We sell to a large part of the Swedish grocery retail sector and also have extensive exports to several European markets. We are a cheerful group of around 35 employees who now need to expand. Our recently extended premises are in Ekeby, 15 km outside Helsingborg. For many years we have been certified according to the BRC standard. About the position

We are now looking for a committed and responsible warehouse worker who wants to become part of our team in Ekeby. The role involves varied work where you work closely with production, logistics, and carriers to ensure an efficient and well-functioning warehouse flow.

You will have an important role in daily operations, where structure, accuracy, and teamwork are crucial.

Work duties

The role includes, among other things:

• Receiving goods and registering them in the business system
• Preparation and scanning of customer orders
• Loading and unloading of goods
• Material handling for production
• Inventory counts and stock control
• Batch labeling of incoming goods
• Contact with carriers and transport planning
• Ordering consumables
• Cleaning and tidiness in warehouse areas
• Ensuring accurate stock balances

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is flexible, responsible, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You are meticulous in your work and find it easy to collaborate with others.

We would like you to:

• Have experience of warehouse or logistics work
• Have a forklift license
• Have good computer skills
• Good level of Swedish and English in speech and writing, other languages are advantageous
• Are solution-oriented and like to take responsibility
