Master and Chief Officer for M/T NORE

Rederi AB Väderö Tank is a smaller family-owned shipping company with short decision-making paths and close contact between vessel and office. We offer flexible rotation with a focus on predictable crew changes and long-term collaborations.

Rederi AB Väderö Tank is seeking up to two people for our bunker vessel M/T NORE:

• 1 Master
• 1 Chief Officer

We are also very interested in a Chief Officer with Master's certification and ambition to soon advance to Master.

For the right person, the position can therefore start as Chief Officer on board NORE, with the opportunity to get to know the vessel, the operation and the maneuvering before the next step to Master is taken.

M/T NORE works with bunker operations and frequent port calls in Sweden and Denmark. Maneuvering is therefore an important part of the position.

We are looking for people who are confident on the bridge and have a good understanding of:

• Ship handling and practical ship maneuvering
• Berthing and departure
• Maneuvering in confined waters
• STS operations

You must have valid certificates and qualifications for the position, including relevant Oil & Chemical Tanker qualifications, and good English.

For a Chief Officer who wants to develop towards Master, we offer practical on-board training. Our experienced captains can join on board and provide support and training in, among other things, maneuvering, port calls and bunker operations.
