Smålandshamnar AB is a leading port operator with operations in Oskarshamn and Västervik. We handle a broad spectrum of goods, from sawn timber and paper pulp to scrap, gravel, and project cargo. In addition to our port operations, we also run warehousing and terminal operations for customers in several different industries.

To ensure efficient and safe logistics, we have an extensive fleet of machinery consisting of cranes, wheel loaders, terminal tractors, trucks, and forklifts with capacities from 1.5 to 85 tonnes. We are now looking for an engaged and responsible stevedore who wants to become part of our team in Oskarshamn.

About the position

As a stevedore with us, you have a central role in the daily operations. You work with loading and unloading ships, trucks, and railway wagons, as well as handling goods in warehouse and terminal areas.

The work is varied and involves both practical and machine-based tasks in an operation where safety, quality, and efficiency are always in focus.

Qualifications

To be considered for the position, you need to have:

• Category B driving licence
• Forklift licence B1 and C2
• Upper secondary school diploma
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Desirable

It is a plus if you also have:

• YKB
• ADR training
• Category C, CE, or D driving licence
• Forklift licence C3a and C3b
• Experience of port, warehouse, or terminal work
