Snow groomer operator in beautiful Lofsdalen

The ski resort Lofsdalen is often called “the small village with the big skiing”. Lofsdalen is located in Härjedalen, 500 km from Stockholm. The mountain offers fantastic skiing with Sweden's third highest vertical drop (492 m) from the summit at 1,125 m above sea level.

Lofsdalens Fjällanläggningar AB operates the ski resort with the help of 9 lifts (including 2 modern 6-seater chairlifts) and 25 slopes. In addition to these, we have a sports shop, ski rental, ski school, activities, commercial accommodation, bike park, sky bar, padel hall, etc. We are a total of about 65 employees, of which about 15 work year-round and the rest seasonally. Staff accommodation is available to rent.

The position starts in November and runs until the end of April.

As a Snow Groomer Operator you will work with preparing the slopes as well as repairs and service of snow groomers and snowmobiles. Your workplace is the entire mountain. We currently have 3 machines: Pisten Bully 600 Park, Pisten Bully 600 with cabin, and Pisten Bully 800 with winch.

The person we are looking for should be committed, handy and mechanically knowledgeable, not afraid of hard work, thorough, like order and tidiness, and be service-oriented. You should enjoy varied work with a lot of personal responsibility.

You must have a snow groomer operator's certificate.

In recent years we have invested heavily in our snow groomers. Among other things, we have purchased an impressive Pisten Bully 800

We have also bought a cabin that we have mounted on the back of one of our other snow groomers. The cabin holds 15 people and opens up new opportunities for us, for example passenger transport to our Skybar at the top of the mountain. Or perhaps activities such as morning ski runs before the lift opens, or off-piste skiing on the back side of the mountain, where we do not yet have lifts.

In addition, all 3 machines have the fantastic Snowsat Lidar system installed. The machines “see” the exact snow depth 50 meters ahead of them at all times, all to make driving as efficient and smart as possible.
