Personal Assistant as needed - Höör

Blå Assistans is a nationwide non-profit association that has been run as a cooperative since 1994.

The cooperative provides personal assistance in accordance with the intentions of LSS, the law that gives people with disabilities the right to live like others. Personal assistant is the service profession that supports a person in living the life he or she desires.

Blå Assistans is the cooperative that is characterized by a friendly approach. Accessibility and good service are in focus, to secure everyday life for our assistance users and employees. To ensure strong competence among our employees, we offer continuous training in the field of personal assistance. We also carry out active work environment efforts. I, who am looking for a personal assistant, am a 76-year-old man living in Höör. Since I want self-chosen and self-governed assistance, I have chosen Blå Assistans as the provider. Blå Assistans is the employer for my assistants, while I myself choose whom they should employ as my personal assistants. I schedule my assistance and decide the assistants' work content. My provider strives for members, assistants, and administrative staff to have the competence their tasks require.

I am looking for you, man or woman, who can work well together with me and my assistants; you who apply may preferably be over 40 years old with experience in the care profession and live in Höör or in the immediate surroundings of Höör.

The work involves stepping in by agreement at least 50% per week for some time ahead. I use a wheelchair and use a lift, so it is a big plus if you have worked with a lift before. Since I am tube-fed, I would prefer that you have experience with it from before, as it is important that I feel safe.

Other tasks included are, for example, cooking, cleaning, and hygiene.

Your employment includes participating in training requested by the employer.
