We are now looking for a service-oriented and practical person for the position of Property Caretaker in Malmö, where you will contribute to a commercially driven management with a vision of simplifying and enhancing life through thoughtful housing.

Job duties

As a Property Caretaker, you are responsible for service-oriented and efficient property maintenance. You handle fault reports from tenants, and your working days are varied with different types of assignments.

Your main areas of responsibility include:

• Ensuring that our homes are pleasant by being intact, clean and functional, both inside and around the buildings. You carry out regular inspections and address anything that is discovered.
• Handling simpler plumbing and HVAC matters
• Working with planned maintenance and proactive measures
• Ensuring that fire safety requirements are met
• Reviewing invoices and making material purchases
• Carrying out inspections when needed

You start your working day by getting an overview of your cases and shortly thereafter head out to the properties you are responsible for, where you handle your cases and carry out inspections. You work efficiently using digital tools, which gives you a good overview of your assignments and makes it easy to plan your day and week. Both case management and inspections are carried out via an application on a mobile phone or tablet.

Qualifications

• Upper secondary education and/or vocational college education, preferably with a focus on property maintenance, or equivalent relevant work experience
• Previous experience as a Property Caretaker, Property Technician or Repairer
• It is a merit if you have knowledge of locks, white goods and electrical work
• Good computer skills and experience of digital tools
• Good Swedish and English, spoken and written (additional languages are a plus as our tenants come from all corners of the world)
• A category B driving licence is required
