Senior Assembler
Description
Are you an experienced assembler with a genuine technical interest and enjoy solving problems? Do you want to work with advanced technology where every product can present a new challenge? Then System 3R may be right for you.
With us, you get a job far from traditional series production. We develop and manufacture advanced products for automation and tool manufacturing, and our products are often customized and manufactured in small batches. This means you constantly get to familiarize yourself with new drawings, designs, and technical solutions.
We are looking for someone who not only wants to assemble – but who wants to understand, solve problems, and take responsibility for the product being right.
About the position
As a technical assembler at System 3R, you will become an important part of our production. You will work with mechanical assembly, customizations, testing, and quality assurance of our products.
Our batch sizes are often very small, usually 1–10 parts, while 30–50 parts already count as a larger batch. This makes the work varied and requires both technical understanding, precision, and the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new tasks.
You will work independently with your tasks, but at the same time have close collaboration with colleagues in production, engineering, and logistics. When something does not go according to plan, your experience and problem-solving ability are important for finding a good solution.
Work duties
- Assembly of advanced mechanical and technical components according to drawings and instructions
- Assembly of customizations and special units
- Interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications
- Measurement, inspection, and adjustment of components
- Testing and verification of finished products
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving during assembly and testing
- Identify and manage deviations
- Contribute improvement suggestions within production, quality, and working methods
- Collaboration with production, engineering, design, and logistics
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with several years of experience in qualified mechanical assembly and who enjoys working practically with technology.
You are a person who likes to understand **why** something works, not just follow an instruction. You have a natural eye for detail and react when something is not right. When you encounter a problem, you try to analyze the situation and find a solution, while knowing when it is important to get help from a colleague or another function.
You are meticulous and quality-conscious, but also flexible and curious. Since our products are often customized, you need to enjoy variation and appreciate learning new things.
We believe you are a team player who takes responsibility for your own work and contributes to a positive and solution-oriented work environment.
We are looking for someone who has
- Several years of experience in mechanical assembly or equivalent qualified technical work
- Good technical understanding and a genuine interest in mechanics and technology
- Good experience in reading technical drawings
- Experience working with measuring instruments, such as calipers and micrometers
- Ability to take responsibility for quality and delivery in your own work
- Swedish in speech and writing
The following are advantageous:
- Technical education in, for example, mechanics, industry, or production
- Education or experience in technical drawing reading and measurement technology
- Experience in customized manufacturing or small-scale production
- Experience in troubleshooting and testing of technical products
- Experience from the workshop or manufacturing industry
