Welder/construction metalwork/repair

Hallsbergs Smide AB has been in existence for more than 70 years. We currently have about 35 employees. Our core values are fast deliveries, high quality and extensive professional expertise. We work in three different customer segments: repair/maintenance, contract manufacturing and construction metalwork.

We also carry out work directly at customers' sites.

We have broad professional expertise in sheet metal working and machining. Our focus is low-volume manufacturing such as prototypes and smaller batch sizes. We work with the commonly occurring steel grades, stainless steel and aluminium.

We are currently certified in ISO 9001, ISO 3834-2 and EN ISO 1090-1

which means that those who weld have welding licenses.

Experience of welding in various types of materials, primarily black steel. To have at least 5 years of "outdoor work experience" where welding/problem-solving is a main part of your work. In the future, you may also have the opportunity to take on greater responsibility as an assembly supervisor.

We see an increasing demand for our services. Therefore, we need to strengthen our organization with two employees.

Job description:

Main focus: Repair/construction metalwork / welding in the workshop

Based on drawings, instructions and your own problem-solving, independently carry out repairs / welding on site at the customer's premises.

Construction metalwork: From simple railings to erected steel frames with walls and roof sheeting etc.

Your qualifications:

Experience of welding in various types of materials, primarily black steel. To have at least 5 years of "outdoor work experience" where welding/problem-solving is a main part of your work.

If you have a welding license in any area, it is a plus.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities, as we work with a high level of personal responsibility.

Work is normally carried out in our local area, so there are no overnight stays.
