We are now looking for an engineer with a focus on systems and machinery, a role that combines technical responsibility and sometimes project management – where you will be a key person in developing energy-efficient, sustainable, and safe ship solutions for our clients.

Your role

As a system and machinery engineer, you will work on both newbuild and conversion projects. The role involves technical responsibility and sometimes project management. You will:

  • work on the development, sizing, and integration of machinery and auxiliary systems onboard
  • contribute to technical solutions for energy optimization, alternative fuels, and environmental requirements
  • sometimes lead and coordinate projects, including planning, follow-up, and communication with clients, shipyards, and suppliers
  • collaborate closely with colleagues from different disciplines to ensure holistic solutions

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent, with a focus on mechanical or marine engineering. We would prefer that you have:

  • experience in ship design, shipyard work, or similar technical environments
  • knowledge of marine systems and their design and dimensioning
  • experience with machinery systems, energy optimization, or propulsion solutions
  • proficiency in 2D/3D-CAD and preferably experience with software used in marine design
  • experience in writing technical specifications and working in project form
  • good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
