Heliås is an independent school for grades F-6, located in the scenic Hemmanet area in Njurunda, just outside of Sundsvall. The school has a science-oriented focus, meaning students have more time for science subjects but also learn through a scientific approach across all subjects. For the 2026-2027 academic year, we are seeking a teacher, alternatively a leisure-time center teacher, qualified to teach art and/or music. Some time will be spent in preschool class.

Duties

You are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching in art and music in accordance with current curricula. You contribute to a safe and stimulating learning environment and collaborate closely with colleagues and school management.

Qualifications

• Teaching license with qualifications in art and/or music for grades 1-6, or 1-3 or 4-6. Alternatively, a leisure-time center teacher qualified to teach one of these subjects.

• Good pedagogical skills and clear leadership

• Relational approach and good collaboration skills
