We are now looking for a teaching assistant/childcare worker for our operations, working both at school and in after-school care.

Your Mission

In the role of teaching assistant/childcare worker, you work closely with students throughout the day. You are part of the school's after-school team, collaborating and cooperating with the school's after-school educators and teachers.

During the school day, you are a present, active, and supportive adult in the classroom. You work both with the whole class and support individual students who need extra assistance, both academically and socially. You are also present during breaks and contribute to creating safe and positive break activities where students have the opportunity for play, community, and movement.

In after-school care, you participate in and are responsible for after-school activities together with your colleagues. You plan, implement, and develop activities based on the after-school program's mission, students' needs and interests, and the school's shared goals. Through play, creativity, movement, and social interaction, you contribute to students' learning and development in a safe and stimulating environment. You enjoy engaging students and creating activities that spark curiosity, participation, and joy.

Additionally, tasks include attendance management, daily contact with guardians, participation in meetings, and engagement in the school's systematic quality work. Opening and closing of the after-school care facility are included in the position.

The position includes, among other things:

• supporting students during the school day
• contributing to safety and social development
• planning and implementing after-school activities
• collaborating with teachers, colleagues, and guardians
• being involved in the school's joint development work

Your Experience

We are looking for someone who:

• has education as a teaching assistant, childcare worker, or equivalent experience
• has experience working in schools and/or after-school care
• has good collaboration skills and a professional demeanor
• expresses themselves well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing

It is meritorious if you have experience working with students with special needs or neurodevelopmental disorders.
