Accounts Payable and Accounting Specialist

We are seeking a meticulous and structured accounting specialist focusing on accounts payable for our finance function. You will work with our Swedish and Danish companies in an international and project-based business in wind power.

The role is operational with significant ownership and suits someone who thrives in a dynamic environment where the pace varies and where your ability to create structure amidst change is essential. You will play a key role in ensuring quality, traceability, and stability in financial flows.

Tasks

As an accounting specialist, you will:

• Manage supplier invoices (registration, coding, and VAT)

• Review and book receipts related to time reporting, per diems, and deductions

• Support monthly closings and perform account reconciliations

• Handle intercompany invoicing

• Administer corporate cards and ensure policy compliance

• Ensure correct documentation per audit requirements

• Support ongoing finance and payroll-related tasks

Qualifications (required)

• Post-secondary education in finance/accounting or equivalent work experience

• Experience in accounts payable or similar tasks

• Basic knowledge of bookkeeping

• Solid IT system skills

• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written (Danish is a plus but not required)

Meritorious

• Experience in account reconciliations and closing work

• Experience in receipt and expense management (including per diems)

• Experience working with multiple companies or in an international environment

• Experience with financial systems (Spiris)
